We were delighted to be asked to take part in the events surrounding the Portland Symphony Orchestra's Classical Series, Romantic Tchaikovsky, taking place in January and featuring the premiere of composer Robin Holcomb's piece, No Thing Lives to Itself, inspired by Rachel Carson’s life and work.

This pre-concert luncheon with Portland Symphony Orchestra’s music director, Eckart Preu, and guest composer, Robin Holcomb, provides an intimate setting in which patrons can hear from the guest artist herself about the inspiration behind her work.
