We aim to assist the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge in:
Supporting acquisition funding.
Assisting in the pursuit of acquisitions.
Increasing public awareness of needs and benefits of the refuge.
Providing refuge division monitoring.
Commenting on activities which affect the refuge.
Identifying other similar areas which warrant refuge type protection.
Assisting with refuge projects as they arise.
Identifying means and location(s) for an educational/visitor's center.
Supporting refuge operations through fund raising, including, but not limited to, grants, fundraising events, and partnership.
Engaging in stewardship activities, education and outreach program.
Advocating for education about environmental concerns, needs of wildlife and conservation practices and refuge system government funding at a national level.
